The Process

1. You will work in pairs
   
   
2. Each pair will be given a floppy disk so you can save the files you will create.
   
   
3. Follow the sequence of links on the left (Research, Discuss, Build). For each step you will have a specific task to do. When you finish one step, you may proceed to the next one.
   
   
4. On the first step, you will start learning aout them.
   
   
5. On the second step you will participate in an online discussion.
   
   
6. On the third step, you will build a web page about that figure. On the page, you will explain what made you choose that person. You will use a template created in MSWord. However, if you can use an HTML editor such as Front Page Express, you may use the alternative HTML template provided. But remember: keep it simple!
   
   
7. To help you, links to resource pages have been provided on the research page. Just follow the suggested links.
   
   
8. If you come across a new word or phrase, don't panic. Click on the tools link on the left. There you will find an on-line dictionary search box, and other useful tools. Just type in the word or phrase and click OK.
   
   
9. Off we go!
